no dvb-t services - advice please!

hi there,

I have just recieved my new sony vaio ar11m, and very nice it is too, however it has a built in tv tuner, only i'm working through the set up and it just doesn't pick up any services in my area, are these tuners tempremental? or am I doing something wrong? anybody else had issues with setting up the channels?

Maybe a silly question but have you connected an external Arial, etc. to the UHF/VHF port on your Vaio?

maybe a silly answer, but no, as it says it has a built in tv tuner.....sooooo I need an airiel? but I thought that was the idea of having it built in...? i'm being stupid arn't I.......:smileyblush:

You need an arial, either a rooftop one or just a small one you can transport with your VAIO.

DVB services can be tempremental, chek out www.freeview.co.uk for more info about what you can get and where
