NEED A NEW BATTERY for my OLD Vaio

Hi, I have one of the 1st Note book Vaio's and cant seem to find anywhere that stocks a battery for it. Are the batteries interchangable between models ? My model is a PCG-9E7M, bought about 6 yrs ago my e-mail is ukbossman007@hotmail.co.uk

The PCG-9E7M is also know as the PCG-FX701..

I believe the battery for your Vaio is the PCGA-BP71A which is available from here, but you may wish to check out other sites..:smileyhappy:

Nice to see people are still using the classics, as I feel that was Sony's best era!

It has served me well, I have had to wipe it a few times but there is no point in getting anything quicker as I only play and use it for browsing, take it on holiday and for small word docs etc, only prob is it hasnt got an internal writer so portability of memory is difficult, ( I use a flash drive now so things are easier ) See you
