Hi!
A few weeks ago I had a problem with my Sony Vaio laptop, so I took it to a specialist. It took him several days to announce me I have "lost one of my two Bios" (those were his words, i understoo nothing of this but I hope it make sense)) and he has a problem in finding the right Bios for me. After a couple of day, he phoned me and told me he found a Bios and my laptop works fine, it just need his software reinstalled. When I took it home (the laptop, not the specialist), I notice that BIOS and Windows reported me another type of laptop, VPCSA2FGX. Also, I am unable to install Windows 7 HP or Profesional, neither from USB, from internal DVD or from external DVD, because of the attached message. I also discovered that I am unable to write a CD or a DVD using the internal DVD writer.
As a first step, I would like to have a BIOS that will report me I have a VPCSE2F1E laptop, maybe this will avoid the error message I receive when I try to install WIN 7 HP or WIN 7 Profesional.
Can you help me with this, please?
Thanks!
Thanks!
Thanks!
I already onwloaded that file, it updated my BIOS but model number is the same when I enter BIOS, VPCSA2FEX, not VPCSE2F1E. I think I have to write a new BIOS from zero, if you understand what I mean. I need to erase the current BIOS and write new one. Or... I don't know what i should do.
And related to the software page, nothing from there helps me. All I need now is to reinstall a WIN 7, any type. And I can't do it, no matter what version of Win 7 I try to install (HP or Prof), due to the error message I posted. That's why I think I need to solve my Bios problem first.
Si, I need to write a new BIOS, from zero, for my laptop. Can anyone help me, please?
