My laptos has big problem

Can anyone help me?
After 3/4 hours of work my laptop swith off itself automatically without any reasons. After that with the power button the laptop start again without appantly problems......and than start the hystory again.

Is the laptops bottom hot?

Check your CPU temperature with MobileMeter.

might be a problem of over heating.

the laptop will switch itself off if the CPU has reached critical heat level. you need to check your fan.

do u have a diagnostic CD?
