modem driver for pcg-fx801

my internal modem doesn'r t work, in the hardware manager a
"pci communicaton controller" appear. i think that could be the internal modem. i tried several connexiant drivers but noone hat worked
on the sony webside i can find any.
perhaps you have an idea ?

i assume you have used your own winxp or what ever and not the recovery discs?

the modem driver is on the last (4/4) of your recovery cds.

i have currently problems reaching www.vaio-link.com, when i go to download, i can get the list of devices, but there is nothing to download on this page, but probably they are doing something on their page......

iirc i have a driver somewhere in a backup, so if you want, PM me and i can mail you the driver

From what I can see there's only touchpad updates.
