HELP WITH WIRELESS - FOR NOVICE!

Hi,

I have a Sony VGN FS115B, which is our only PC. I want to go wireless at home just so that I am not tied to working online next to the modem. Is this possible without having a 'parent' computer hooked up? All I seem to see advertised is networks. Ours wouldn't be a network as such as we only have the one computer.

Welcome to the forum,:smileyhappy:

All you basically need to by is a wireless router.

The type you need depends on whether you have an ADSL connection (BT line) or a cable connection.

If you have ADSL you will need a ADSL modem router (Example) or a cable router (example)
