fuzzy screen on vgn-a215m

Hi, I have a vgn-a215m, several days ago the screen started to go "fuzzy" by this I mean there are hundreds of verticxal lines on the screen which change colour depending on what the background colour is (purple on a white screen, green on black, blue on green etc) The pattern of the lines and intensity changes making the screen sometimes mildly fuzzy and readable and at other times bloody impossible to read, by opening and closing windows I can sometimes make the screen more readable. anybody got any ideas

Sounds like it's heat on the GPU causing this
Clean out the fans with compressed air
