Guys does the colum titled VGN-FE1 series at the above link relate to the Vaio FE11S. If so it looks like I can now install Vista with full support.

Same here I have FE11S too and consider upgrading Vista Ultimate shortly. Not sure about this, but I think the column VGN-FE1 refers to FE11S series? Just be careful aggainst wrong drivers installation!

I am still doubtful as well if FE11S with Centrino Duo T2400 CPU does support 64-bit Vista, does anyone can convince me?

No point moving to 64bit Vista our CPUS are only 32bit and we dont have more than 4gb of RAM.
