I´m having trouble with the brand newly installed Imaging Edge Viewer software. Large image is not displayed in the desktop viewer. Only small thumbnails. In preview display the display is only black. I´ve installed it over again and tried everything. Turned off the computer and deleted the software to reinnstall. Image is still not showing, si its impossible to browse all types of files like .jpg and .arw.
Anyone know how to fix will save ny day and my hair!!?
sincerely,
Øyvind (norway)
Hi @oyvindnn, can you please mention the model of your camera and the type of images/files that you're facing the issue on?
As well, have you tried to install it on another device to check?
Its a problem with all images/files. Non are displayed. Files are either stored on the computer or writing from memorycard. Some taken with my Sony a1 ARW files, but any jpg anywhere on the computer wont show. On my old macbook pro everything works as it should.
Hey oyvindnn, what's the OS of the device that the IE doesn't work on?
hello together!
i have exactly the same problem as described above and it's been going on for about 5 weeks. on my old Mac Book pro M1 it worked, but on my Mac Book Pro M1 Max it doesn't work anymore.
Deleting or reinstalling imagine viewer does not solve the problem. I currently have macOS 12.2 installed.
Maybe there is a setting or system file that is not deleted when reinstalling the program?
It worked for me until a system crash. Just before the crash, the viewer was running on an external monitor and I was viewing photos. Then the computer crashed and since then no chance that it shows photos again. Everything stays black, as if it wants to display the picture on another monitor. But even if I connect 3 external monitors, no picture is rendered on any of them, only the miniature view works in the viewer app.

@ rafstervienna, that mostly because the recent version of Mac isn't supported.
