DVD Rewriter

The computer has stopped recognising the DVD Writer, it doesn't appear on the "My Computer" view as a drive.

How do I repair this?

Well you can go into the device manager (right click my computer / properties / hardware tab / device manager button) and tell us what code it comes up with for the DVD, or if in fact it's still showing.
