Blu-ray drive doesn't respond anymore

I have a Vaio AR21S. I recently updated the firmware of my bluray drive to 1.05. All was good, I did the requested restart, and now the drive doesn't respond.

There is a commercial bluray film disc inside, while windows shows the drive is empty. Eject also doesn't work, I can't find a way to open the drive.

I removed the drive in device manager and then reinstalled it, but it's still the same. Device manager tells the drive is working perfectly.

Any solutions? Thanks in advance.

Try to find your preinstalled firmwire or install an other firmwire update Drivers & updates

I think there is also an Update for WinDVD BD available. Open the program and search for updates (usually under the Help menu)

Thanks it works again. After deleting it from device manager, my vaio seems to need 2 restarts to install the drivers correctly.
