2nd hard drive in Vaio SVE1712Q1E

Hi

I would like to replace the DVD drive with a hard disk, using the HDD caddy OBHD-SATA12-SATA-BU, but can anyone tell me firstly, which version of SATA the laptop supports, and secondly what is the maximum supported size of 2nd hard disk?
