Windows 8 device not windows certified

Just up graded my laptop to Windows 8 and it now won't stream to my Bravia (KL 40 NX703) using the Play To feature in media play, it says 'device not Windows certified". It worked fine with Windows 7. Any ideas?

Hi there

My advice would be to install a piece of software called Homestream.

(Alternatively, personally, I would rather upgrade back to Windows 7)

Thanks for the information on Homestream - works a treat and better that the Media Player version too!

Still confused as to why Windows 8 doesn't do it but I suppose nothing should surprise me with MicroSoft
