Stop and start

Can anyone tell me why my tv will play for 3 second then pause for 3 second and it does that all day long, any ideas ??

What is the exact model of TV.

What age is it?

Are there any flashing LEDs on the front.

if it is a very old TV then it may be a sign it is about to pack up.

@Kezoddie Hey, we need more details so we could help, let's start with the TV model. Also, does it restart or do you mean it freezes?
