Sony BRAVIA KDL-40W2000 Troubleshooting

Shortly after turning the power on, the TV will make a loud-ish bang and switches itself to standby.  The red power light flashes twice every 2 seconds.  Unplugging from the power for a while and then plugging back in produces the same result.  Any thoughts as to why this might be and what I can do about it would be appreciated.

Hi there

Unfortunately it appears that the TV has a hardware fault.  You will need to contact an authorised Sony Repair Centre.

• Diagnostic Item : +B overcurrent (OCP)
• Symptoms : Power does not come on, Load on Power line shorted.
• Probable cause : Faulty D Board
