I disconnected a Panasonic Tv 3yrs old &  decided to connect a 2yrs old Sony in place.I'm stumped there is no connection for the Sat dish .Appreciate any suggestions to solve prob.

If you are talking about you were able to connect the Sat dish cable directly to your Panasonic TV it means that your TV had an integrated DVB-S tuner.

Your Sony Bravia doesn't have it. There are other Bravia models that have DVB-S tuner integrated.

What you can do is buy a satellite receiver and connect it to your Bravia via HDMI, SCART or component cables.
