Recently purchased the 42w-653 tv

Recently purchased the 42w-653 tv.and having problems getting wi-fi internet onto the tv .Even tho' at set-up i'm told connection is ok ? I note that  I now require a firmware update toPKG3.610 EVA. This would'nt be causing my problem would it? How do I update the firmware?
