Play external subtitles - MKV movies - KD65X8505BBU

Dear All, 

how can i play external subtitles with mkv movies? i'm using WD Cloud. i have tried using the .srt subtitle in the same movie folder and with same name... but apparently its not working. 😞

Hi there

You cannot use .srt files via DLNA.  You will need to install a DLNA Media Server such as Twonky.

Mux your srt subs quickly into MKV file using MKVToolnix. You will be able to change subtitles using remote control playing content via DLNA.
