More channels on Internet TV

I would like to be able to watch ITV and Channel 4 catch-up TV on my Sony TV. When I purchased the television, there was BBC i-Player and Channel 5 catch-up already on there (amongst other obscure things) and was wondering if there was a way to get these other channels. I have tried to update the set, but haven't got anywhere! If anyone knows how to do it, please tell!

You can actually get both channels using the inbuilt web browser but neither of them will display video as they both need flash player to allow them to work but it cannot be installed.

Basicly the TV is useless as a smart TV.
