Keep loosing HDTV channels - Sony Bravia 32WD756BU

I've had this new TV for a month now. The HD channels were working fine but now they keep dropping out. Another LG TV runs off the same arial in the loft and it always has perfect HD channels. I've swapped the cable from the wall into the TV with a better quality one, but the same thing still happens. Is this the TV loosing the tuned channels or a cable from the loft problem ?

Does this happen on the latest software version (v8.229)?

I've just checked and I'm on 8.219-1000-1.330-01. When I go to update it says 'no newer software version found'.

Great, thanks. The version on my TV wasn't the latest, even though it said 'no update available'. I've just updated it now so hopefully that might fix it.
