KDL-46NX720 and Skype

Hi all,

I'm experiencing some wierd problems with skype: when I accept a video call, after 2-3 seconds skype hangs and TV reboots ... This is happening for the last 1-1.5 month, constantly.

I have updated to the latest  available firmware and echo test (soud only ...) works.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Hi there

Interesting problem here.  The latest firmware was issued 2 months ago (25/06/2013).

The only thing I can suggest, is perform a Factory Reset of your TV, to clear any "stuck" data or settings.

I'll give it a try today, although it worked (for 2-3 weeks) without problems after the upgrade.

Unfortunately, the factory reset didn't help.

What I noticed, is that if the calling party starts it's video after the call has been initiated,

it works (!?)

It's not really a solution, but it's a workaround for now ...
