KDL-42W829B Bluetooth
Hi,
I have a 2015 Sony Bravia KDL-42W829B TV.
I have just purchased a Smart Sofa with Bluetooth speakers. I have tried connecting the TV to the bluetooth speakers, but when I do a search, no devices are found. I'm guessing the TV is too old.
Is there anything I can buy (apart from a new TV!) which will allow me to connect using the TV's bluetooth?

An optical to Bluetooth transmitter may fit the bill:-

Yea at this point you will need to rely on a transmitter of some sort knowing that it might not work.

I find Amazon return labels very easy to print for anything that doesn’t do what it is claimed to do 😛

Sorry, I have had an absolute nightmare trying to log into the Sony website on my Sony mobile!. I've had to boot up and dust off my PC.
Anyway, thanks very much for your advice, I went with this very cheap £5 one from ebay to make sure it would work first. It works absolutely brilliantly and I'm now getting full use of my new smart sofa.
