my 40hx853 loses tv signal when top box humax t2 is in stand by ok when turned on..

Hi there

I believe this problem is due to the fact that power saving is enabled in standby mode.

Try turning this setting off.

Also, remember that the Aerial goes to the "aerial in" socket on the humax, and another cable, goes from the "aerial out" on the humax to the "aerial in" on the TV (kinda like a loop)

thanks for your answer but its only since i have changed the a sony tv for a new model  that this happens,

it worked fine with old sony model KDL-40W3000 usyng the same humax t2.

Hi there.

My only other suggestion is to use a aerial splitter from the socket on the wall, and feed each device separetly. (This is what I actually do, to be honest). They are less than £2 on amazon.

Other than that, I am out of ideas. : )
