KDL-32W653A dissapearing apps

I have the same problem with my KDL-32W653A as it seems others have with larger TVs in the same series.

All my apps have been fine since buying the TV about 5 weeks ago and updating the software. I had some difficulty with wifi strength but resolved that with a wifi range extender and have been used BBC iPlayer several times no problem. Most of the apps disappeared including iPlayer about 2 days ago. Rebooting doesn't help and software is up to date. Can anybody help?
