Hi, this tv cannot naturally receive HD channels. You would have to buy Sky, a freeview HD or some other kind of receiver to get HD channels

Only by buying an external Freeview HD Box. 

Freeview HD requires a DVB-T2 digital tuner in addition to the normal DVB-T tuner and this was not available when your model was released.
