KD 43FX8096 won't switch on

When I switch on the tv from either the remote or the power on switch on the tv, nothing happens. The white LED under the SONY logo illuminates, and within a couple of seconds dims before extinguishing. Ive tried all the reset procedures described on You tube and on this forum. I confirm that I see the green LED when I try and reset from cold, but still nothing happens. No logo, no sound, zip. Any ideas?

Hi Dave,

Have you tried to reset the TV by holding the power and volume down at the same time while the power and any external device are unplugged then re-plug the power cable back while holding the buttons until the TV restarts? If that hasn't work, try reaching out to the Sony reps as it might be a hardware related issue.
