2. I have got sony dvd recorder rdrdc100b. can i use it to record freesat programmes beside freeview programmes

same question but with a KDL-32W5810 TV as terrestrial signal goes off soon the DVD recorder will be useless unless it can record freesat/freeview via the tv.

any suggestions on the possibility or is it a seperate fresat box before DVD then another TV.

Hi, I did went to currys to ask. They say there is no way to record the freesat programmes through a dvd recorder . cos they want to protect the privacy of the programmes. Even for sky subscriber. People can just record using sky's digital box which cannot copy to information to a dvd neither. So if the sky box is death. Everything recorded is death too.....you can only record freeview channel which you can buy a dvd recorder with buildiin freeview function. But freeview is very boring and not much choice.  Hope it help x
