How to Pre Programme a channel to come on automatically

Please can someone tell me how to pre- programme a channel to come on  automatically.  I have a Sony Bravia KDL-32EX310.

Hi

depending on if the model supports it, you go to the guide menu scroll to the programme you wish to watch later, click the confirm button it may give you the option of reminder or record, click reminder and it will switch to that channel when its time.
