Can't connect to wi-fi because can't see ' - ' button?!

I've got a KDL-40EX723. I 've been connected to a Sky wireless router but have switched to EE broadband. When I go to network settings on the TV it finds the wireless network. but my router password contains a dash, and when I click to enter the WPA key via the TV remote I can't see a dash, only see the following symbols . @ / : I've tried to connect via the WPS push button option but the TV isn't picking it up. Help!!!

there should be a line of coloured buttons (red, green, yellow, blue) on the lower part of your remote. once you are at the dialog box of entering text/characters for your network password, press the blue button to toggle between lower cases, upper ones, numbers and sings)
