Bravia KDL-22BX200 - problems with TV making a bang every so often

Hi

I have a Bravia KDL-22BX200 which occaisionally suddenly makes a bang then sewttlews down again, that is the only symptom but its very distracting.

So, the question is - could the TV be failing, or is this asomething I can sort out from the setup etc?

I know its along shot, but one of you geeks out there may be able to help.

Hi Eric

It's really difficult to say what this could be from your description. Sometimes the heat generated by the unit will cause the casing to suddenly expand as it warms up. If this happens only once and shortly after powering up, it's the most likely explanation and probably nothing to be concerned about. 

However if this happens more randomly it could be an indication of component failure and you should get it checked out as soon as possible. If you get back to us with details we can check this out for you.
