50w815b and 5ghz wifi?

Hi there

Just upgraded my Wifi router to support 5 GHz wifi. I've noticed by 50w815b is still connected at 2.4GHz and looking at the manual, it depends where you are as to whether 5 GHz is possible. I'm in the UK.

Anyone know if I should be able to conect at 5 GHz (and how?) or not?

I own a 43W808C tv and it does work with the 5GHz wifi network.

I do not think that the area where you live is a problem.

 Probably your TV is using the first wifi network that was set up (your 2,4 GHz one). You may have to delete that setting and search the 5G network.
