Call Log Is Not Updating

I have a Sony Xperia ST21a2.  For unknown reasons my call log is not updating (not appear incoming/ outgoing numbers).  If found this exact problem listed on this forum, tried the suggested fix (Settings - Backup & Reset - Settings Reset), but that is not working for me.  Any logical recommendations?

@33956  so you basically reset to factory settings and still nothing? Did you change something in network settings after reset?

As silly as it sounds, I inadvertently fixed it.  I can’t tell you how I did, because I didn’t think it would work, so I didn’t write the steps down to communicate it to others with the same problem.  Thanks for your response.
