L1 won't charge

I've had my Sony L1 for about 2 months now, and a few days ago, the battery ran flat. i started  to charge it as it was shutting down. then it wouldn't start charging, so ileft it on charge for a few hours and nothing happened, so i held down the power button and still nothing happend apart from the LED light in the left corner began flashing in intervals of about 5 seconds. i've tried charging it through my PC but it isn't reading it. IS there a problem with my charger port or is it the battery itself?

could you test a different wall charger and cable? if you experience the same issue after that then it will be time to get it inspected by your Local support
