Update Killed UBP=X800

I did the update to the new firmware yesterday and left thre box to update. It got to 100% and turned off, never to restart. I have tried to turn it on after leaving overnight and there is no response from the unit. It will not turn on with remote or on the power button.

Hi there,

Can you try to disconnect the AC power cord from the mains, then reconnect it after several minutes and try to turn the player on again.

Hi, I did this after getting a reply advising the forum was only for North America. Thanks for the advice. The usual defacto response is to turn off the power. 😂
