Spotify connect - wake up the DN1050

Since i finally got myself an account on the support forum i might as well fire away with a second question.

Back in 2015 when i got the DN1050 i could wake up the stereo with spotify connect. It was a bit hit and miss maybe worked 90% of the time. One day it stopped working, I'm guessing after a firmware update or spotify update. After that I had to turn on the stereo and wait for the connect option to come online on the app.

Is there any way in settings to let spotify wake up the stereo on a DN1050 or is there any of the newer models where this is supported?

It's worth checking that the DN1050 has the latest firmware installed. Please have a look here.

Using Spotify Connect is the useful way for playing with Spotify. However, I am free users which means I can't use Spotify Connect. What's a pity!
