Hello,
Please help me with below situation.
I am using Sonos Playbar via optical cable from my Sony AF9. When I mute my tv, it displays muted, however, Sonos still unmuted. I saw couple of posts saying - when we use optical output option Sony tv does not mute optical output signal. But this is not good :(. Please fix this issue.

Hi @id4manish
You pay big money for a TV with a fantasic sound system and you then connect it to a playbar using an outdated optical cable. What am I missing?
Please note this is a customer to customer community. You should contact Sony direct if you are requesting any fixes etc.

Now I sent an email to Sony. Also suggest me what could be other possible way to connect my AF9 to Sonos Playbar apart from optical cable??
