SETUP SOUND BAR HT-CT260H

Hi all,

    Just want to check my set up and sort out a issue I think I have.

Setup

Virgin Digi box to HDMI 2 ON tv.

Tv HDMI (ARC) to Sound Bar HT-CT260H

All seems to work fine. ( Is this setup correct )

Issue

When I turn the tv off the sound bar  turns off Great but when I turn the tv on the sound bar doesn’t turn on

I have to use the sound bar remote. Is this right or is there a setting. Any advice

Hi there

There would be a setting on the TV to control what happens when switching TV on.

What TV do you have (brand and model)?

Thank you for your quick response, I check my tv there was a setting I needed to change CeC so all works great..

On other note using this setup my tv and sound bar interface with HDMI ARC which work well.

My digi box go’s through the tv HDMI.

The only down side is I have one HDMI port left on the sound  bar I want to purchase a sony

Blue ray can I use that hdmi port.

Hi there

Your welcome. 

You can use either the ports on the Soundbar itself, or on the TV. Just make sure you select the right input source - but CEC functions may do that anyhow.
