Old sony tv connection problems to home theatre

Called to a job today to sort out no sound through HDMI devices on home theatre system.

System currently outputting DVB and Sky hd (which is connected by Scart) through sound system but will not output Sky hd (through hd) or amazon Tv.  The Tv is connected through AV2 to the Home theatre.

The Tv does not have optical or Digital output on it and the home theatre only has optical and Digital coax input.

Any ideas of the best way to get this up and running.
