Hi Folks,
Just before Christmas I purchased a new Sony BDP-S370 Blu-Ray player. I am very pleased with the unit but I have a couple of questions that I hope the group can help me with.
1. The sound volume when playing DVDs is a lot quieter than when playing Blu-Ray. The player is attached to a LG 1080P LCD TV via an HDMI cable. Any ideas why this is so? Is there any way to boost the volume when playing DVDs? For example, when the TV is showing Freeview or a Blu-Ray disk the sound volume can be set between 15-25 but for DVD it has to be at 75+.
2. On all my previous DVD players the machine has remembered the point where the "film" was stopped and the disk removed. When the disk has been placed back in the film continues from that point. I have looked through all the menus on the DBP-S370 and cannot see an option to enable this. Does anyone know if this is possible on the BDP-S370?
Thank you for you help.
Paddy
