Low Temperature

i have a Sony Blu-Ray player (BDV-E280) which will not operate if the room temperature is below 14-15 degrees C, does anyone else have problems like this?

Hi there

Although I cannot find the exact figures, many electronic devices only work properly between a min and max operating temperatures.

However I would have thought 14 degrees is a bit high for a minimum temperature - maybe the system has a bit of condensation build up, which may cause a short in power.
