Lip Sync on Sony products

I Have a Sony HT-CT390 sound bar connected to a Sony KD-65XD750X TV the sound volume levels don't match. When the TV is at 100 the sound bar is at 50 and that is as high as the sound will go. Can anyone help please?

Hi there

This is normal - its just that external audio devices use different scales for decibel levels.  When my AV Receiver says 10, the TV says 13

This is nothing to do with Lip Sync by the way.  Lip Sync is where the sound is out of sync with the picture.  I.e. Lips move before talking etc.

Thanks for your reply.  Sorry the Subject matter was incorrect.  That is a seperate problem I have that sometimes, but not always, there is a lip sync problem?
