Hi,
I have an HT-RT5 sound bar, connected to an X8509C TV. The TV connection is through HDMI, and in general works fine. I have a Sky + HD box connected to the bar via HDMI 1. Disappointingly, the output of the bar is very variable, mostly being good, but often dropping in volume, almost as if the bar is switching off momentarily.
I have checked the connections and they all seem fine. I admit that I generally only use sound bar with the Sky box so haven't tried using the TV output alone through the HT-RT5.
Has anyone come across this kind of issue before?
Just to add I have tried it now using the digital TV picture, and the problem is still there.
I have the same problem. It was all fine until recently, i think after a software update the TV and Sound drops and I can no longer listen or watch from the HT-RT5
