Has anyone else had this issue. I've changed TV, change virgin media boxes, changed optical cable. Reset the system, changed output settings but still the sound drops out. Finally took it back to richer sounds as I paid for the 6 year guarantee. They did a soak test and told me that there wasn't a problem. I'm not imagining or lying about this so just wondered how many others have had this issue and how did the fix it.

Hi Braviabunny,
That sounds great. I've heard that changing the settings to PCM is the best while using optical cable. I found an article on the Sony website explaining the best way to set up your soundbar with your TV: https://www.sony.co.uk/electronics/support/articles/00014997

Hi braviabunny,
I'll look into this for you and see if I can find out. Someone else in the community may be able to advise in the meantime.
Thanks,
Pascale
Hi Braviabunny,
On which input does the issue occur?

It seems that I have managed to get it working properly. I have changed the tv audio setting to PCM and has only dropped the a couple of times over a period of days rather than hours.
