HT-CT790 rename HDMI

Hi,

would it be possible to rename the HDMIs to watever I like? For example Apple TV, Amazon BOX and not just PC, CABLE, etc.

I know I can do this on my bravia 4k hdr tv so I'm sure it's something that can be done (can't find out how!) and if not pretty sure Sony can add it via future firmware upgrades.

Hi there

There is nothing in the manual to indicate that you can rename the HDMI inputs.  So i can only conclude that it cannot be done.  TVs and AV Recievers you can, but ive not seen it on a Sony Soundbar yet.

Is there any reason why the TV is able to do it but not the soundbar?
