DN-STR1060 Composite Video Input

Hi All,

Has anyone managed to get the SAT/CATV composite video input to work?  I've been through the manual and setting on the menus and my box refuses to pass the composite video through to the HDMI output which teh TV is on.

Am I asking too much? Will it only translate analog to analog (i.e. composite to component)?

Am I missing a subtle setup combination somewhere?

Hi there

I guess this is the answer.

^* Connect a TV to the corresponding output jacks to watch video input from these jacks.
・ HDMI IN jacks: HDMI OUT A (TV) or HDMI OUT B/HDMI ZONE jack
・ VIDEO IN jacks: VIDEO MONITOR OUT jack
・ COMPONENT VIDEO IN jacks: COMPONENT VIDEO MONITOR OUT jack

So it doesnt appear to do any analog to digital conversion im afraid.

Many thanks, as always the detail is in the detail and I was making a grand assumption

Off to Amazon for an analog to HDMI converter then.
