Connecting a blue ray BDVE370 to sky q box

• Just been given a Sony BDV-E 370 how can I connect it to my sky Q box? Because there is no Scart on the sky box.

Hi @andy2019 

As far as I can see, your only option is to connect it using an Optical lead for sound. However, it would be better to connect it to your TV. If your TV has an ARC HDMI port then connecting it with a HDMI cable will provide sound from the TV and Sky Q through the Audio Return Channel.

If you don’t have an ARC port on your TV, then connect to the TV using an optical cable.

I am not sure why you mentioned SCART. What exactly are you wanting to do?

Thank you, I’ll try that. Not sure why I mentioned scart I must’ve been thinking about something else 🤦‍♂️
