Hi all,

Hopefully someone can help me. I have a HCD-MD373 Compact Disc Deck Receiver, which, after having played an Ipod on it through the line in, now shows the warning "push power, protect" in the display. When you turn it on and off, the same warning keeps coming back.

I have tried the reset button on the back, and also checked the 2 glass fuses, but the warning stays. Does anyone know how to solve this problem / reset the system? I really like my little "cube", so I hope someone knows the answer!

Hi

That message appears in the troubleshooting area of the manual on P56.  It suggests that you should, as you indicate you have done, switch the power off and leave for a while and then power back on again.   If the error message is still coming up, you might want to get it looked at.     Prob some software that needs resetting or something like that.
