Scam email - job application

Yesterday I received an automatic email from what it looks a Sony Workday account to confirm Sony had received my application for a Marketing role. Shortly after I receive another email from the same account inviting me to create a profile to continue with my application. No need to say, I haven’t applied for any roles at Sony.

amazing how these people can find new ways of scamming other by taking advantage of those who are desperately looking for a new job after COVID.

That's definitely a spam email. Just block the sender and delete it.

There will always be those who use the names of big companies to attract victims.
