Frozen Welcome screen on DPT-RP1

Hello, has anybody an experience how to solve an issue with frozen welcome screen on Digital paper DPT-RP1?

There is no possibility to reset even using paper pin and reset button.  Switch on button is not working, after pressing red led light blinks 3 times and nothing else.

Very important that this piece of device was never properly put in operation.

have you charged the device?

Since e-ink displays can hold their last image for up to a month without one pixel turning on itself, it could be that the LED sequence (3 times blinking) means "low battery" - if that is the case, the e-reader just needs to be charged in order to work again.
