e reader not charging via laptop

My sony e reader PRS 600 is refusing to charge via usb and laptop - normally this works perfectly well.

Any ideas?

Do you have another usb cable you could use?

I reset mine,pressing the reset button,seemed ok after that.

Make sure you laptop is not in a power save mode, as this will lower the output on connections, and may not be enough to kick that charging on the Reader.

I had the same problem when my PRS600 would not charge from a PC - I went into 'settings' on the reader and reset default settings,essentially logging on again an hey presto,plugged it in again and charged up as normal
